The present

I am delighted to be delivering another batch of Jigsees to a school! It makes me happy and I hope that they bring a little happiness to those who use them too!

Jigsee is a play on the word jigsaw. Instead of seeing in the past, I wanted my puzzle to help us see the present and see the positive here and now.

I’m reminded today of a great line quoted in Kung Foo Panda….

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift that’s why we call it the present
— Eleanor Roosevelt

The reason I started Jigsee was to try to create space for presence and a tactile way of being present. Focusing on the puzzle piece in our hands and being immersed in doing rather than just thinking helps us do just that. That is what people seem to really like!

In the Jigsee message, I also hope to remind others to see the beauty, creativity, love and light in themselves and the world around them. Of course, it is important to have lots of fun doing it too!!

A big thank you to everyone supporting me in this vision!
